[Messy robot Repair]

I concur...

It does carry a 80's video game beat,
sounds like something out of sonic.

The beats, and "snaps" are really what makes this piece come together.
The only flaw I could think of was it doesn't have a strong build up, or ending.

Aside from that it was awesome!

Cool Beat.

Hello,

I dug this,
It had a nice variety of sounds, put together in a complex, yet elegant way.
A nice mixture of beats rounded out this piece.

It's pretty catchy, although the mixture between fast and slow beats
works in your favor at times, it also works against you at other times.

It's a unique piece I'll give you that, and because of that I'm awarding you a 8.

Certainly did capture the feel you were going for.

I mean your use of sounds did make this piece feel aquatic.
It kind of reminded me of the music used in the movie "the life aquatic"
which is great, and you should be proud.

Unfortunately the replay value isn't much, since after listening to this a couple of times it starts to get tedious. I guess I could compare it to "ride music" at a theme park.

It's alright as long as you're just a tourist taking the ride once, but I imagine the guy operating the ride would want to kiss the end of a shotgun after a while.

I don't know it was pretty cool,
but frankly it felt kind of similar to a lot of other stuff of the same genre on the portal.

There isn't anything wrong with it, it all feels right. The thing is it isn't exactly unique either. You have some cool powerful beats which work in your favor.
But aside from that it felt somewhat bland.

Again it's not bad at all, and I'm sure people will dig it,
only I wish it had more "flair".

Yeah, you are kinda right about it sounding alot like alot of other songs on newgrounds. But i kinda did it on purpose this way because i actually made it for a friend and he told me to check out the techno section and work around that!

I came so close to handing out a perfect 10, I really did...
The music was so perfect, it had a such a magnificent build up.

With a flawless integration of a vast variety of sounds,
yet it all was done very organically, & felt truly epic...

Until that scream/yell happened, it was so unexpected, random, & out of place.

Had you not included that I think I would have handled out my first 10 for a song on the portal.

A wonderful tangent...

Hello,

I liked this, it had a very unique 80's sound.
It could almost qualify as ambient, but it has a kind of "pulse" to it.

It's very difficult to classify, and not exactly something you can rock out to,
but it's certainly something enjoyable to listen to.

A eclectic cocktail of sounds, provokes a variety of visions...
Not sure what else there is to say, except good job?

I kind of try to write music that's a bit strange since both the Audio Portal and general music is to full of the same stuff. So Wanted to try and be a bit different and give people lots to listen to rather than a simple one time listen and enjoy piece.

ULTRA HYPER...

I didn't really like the beginning that much,
but I must say I really enjoyed the mix of tunes, and play of sounds, as the music progressed.

I heard a couple of "techno" pieces before,
and this sound similar yet feels a little more unique, or polished.

I'm not sure it's that universal but your target audience certainly will dig it!
At least I did.

I can't be too critical, I enjoyed it although some parts just didn't feel perfect to me,
I'm not sure why...

The story is more fleshed out and easier to understand.
You're actually delivery of the script is very professional, you don't ever fall into
what I call the horrible "blank", that is when you say lines flawlessly then suddenly forget a word or stutter... Being that I've done some voice acting myself, I KNOW how hard this is to pull off.

The voices suit the story well, and as I mentioned in the last review the "dynamic"
sounds were quite well done...

In conclusion, you're piece was well executed, funny, and clear.

Thank you so much for this - I managed to break it up into manageable pieces and as a result, the voice didn't fall off too much over the time that I was working on it, as I could stop, delete and start again.

I just hope that someone bears this in mind when there's an animator wandering around that wants a voice actor to produce a piece for them to animate :P
