Hello,
After nearly one year, and fourteen comics, Cooljaw finally reached the end today...
Although I'm happy it's finished, I'm also little sad this was the last time I'll ever get to write these characters.
I feel there are some things that need to be said, first off a thank you is in order to all the members of the "Review Request Club" for their input on the prior comics, your feedback helped immensely.
A very special thank you to Haggard, Fro, & Coop83 for reviewing every single prior comic, and a thank you to all who've supported the project in general.
With CoolJaw I wanted to present a adult oriented story, similar to the movies I grew up watching like "Se7en", "Jacob's Ladder", & "Requiem For A Dream" in fact all of the chapter titles in Cooljaw are from movies that I've seen and admire.
But more than that CoolJaw was a personal project, a story I thought had meaning, and hopefully something others will derive something from as well.
I could go on, but everything I wanted to say is in the comic, in a clear black and white, with the occasional flourish of salient scarlet.
Sincerely,
- Celx

Very nice story and i liked your unique way of telling it
I really love Dark, Gory and intelligent tales like this one, planning on creation more stuff like this?

After I finish "Shark Black: Shattered Guns", I will begin working on a new comic series titled "A Twisted Transparency".
It takes place in the same universe as "Cooljaw", and "Shark", but isn't directly related to either of those. In other words It's a whole new story with completely different characters.
That said it is similar to Cooljaw in that it is a disturbing, adult oriented horror noir, with a similar aesthetic to the Cooljaw artwork, I think CoolJaw fans will dig it.
Sincerely,
- Celx
