Pfffff... There is a dick pay attention people!

Once again short and sweet, you've always made good use of tweens, although I wish the fat kid walking at the beginning would have been done as a frame by frame animation.

Although there was something about him walking in a "south park" manner I found funny... Fat people are always funny, I kind of wish I was fat, not "fat albert" fat, but you know kinda frumpy, without being too chubby.

There was this one girl I knew back in highschool, she thought she was fat but really she wasn't, she just had an eating disorder, so my friends would poke her belly and call her "Buddha", good times.

Also I must ask, was that voice that came out of that grotesque shrivelled penis yours?

I found it incredibly sexy, and I think I came a little...

[Theories and Practice]

I searched a long time for this...

Hello,

I remember seeing this a few years back and thinking to myself how well executed and edited this music video was.

The animation wasn't anything special, but the themes, concepts, and the way you presented them were very well presented.

I think this is a cartoon about how people try to better themselves and the struggles in attempting to do so, some will succeed, and some will fail.

Initially the ending seemed pessimistic, and at worst fatalistic, but after mulling it over it's actually pragmatic.

Most people when attempting to do the right thing will end up failing, I don't think that's the point you were trying to make though, I think you were trying to convey the act of attempting to better oneself is important.

Despite the flawed animation, I feel this is one of the few excellent pieces on newgrounds purely on thematic grounds, it's rare to see something so sincere in it's depiction of human nature, and the dark nature of our current societal malaise...

It almost was like Todd Solondz directed an animated music video,

[Timmy's Giant Sandwich]

You're like the John Waters of newgrounds!

I mean you're both terribly gay, and you both take pleasure in creating perverse versions of classic children stories.

Anyway on to the review, the animation and artwork were simple and childlike. The style works to the films advantage because it creates a meretricious sense of innocence which adds to the shock value once you twist the ending in the cartoons final moments.

The music and voice acting also compliment the cartoons nature, and make the ending all that more shocking and sadistic, the finale itself seems to carry a satirical message about the dangers of a pernicious communist society.

I hope you continue to animate, because you've constantly proven that one doesn't need to be a plutocrat in order to create stories without compromise, regardless of whether they're salacious or not...

I like the whole art style you have going on here, the animation was also pretty slick.
The humor was kinda dry, but then again humor is subjective.

The music wasn't exactly what I was expecting although it did play into the whole loony tunes feel others have commented on. The music wasn't bad but I think you could have picked something better.

The gag itself wasn't anything "fresh", and it was fairly tame but it still worked in the context of the overall feel I think you were trying to convey.

Anyway, good job!

[The Green Line Collab]

I must say I really like some of the artwork presented here, the menus are pretty solid, and the way you "animated" the collab was well executed.

The user below gave you a 6 due to the collab being "unoriginal". While I must concede this is true, I don't see that as a reason to deduct points, given the obvious and honest effort that went into this submission.

Nothing is original there is only bad, and good, this is good.

That said I'm still gonna give you a six, the reason I will do so is because it really is just a couple of illustrations in a tweened video, and that's fine since that's what you were going for.

While this is good there are other collabs out there that have done this concept better (the NG sketchbook collabs for example).

Speaking specifically of things I would have liked to have seen, audio select, a traditional gallery mode, and a bigger selection of artist would have been cool.

[Make It Rain]

I couldn't leave this without a review...

I seriously can't believe this hasn't received one fucking review, what a shame.

Despite being one of your more "simple" videos, this is my personal favorite of all your cartoons.

Every one of your videos is wonderfully made, and even though this one may have been easier to create than "Danger Global Warming", or "Just A Car Crash Away", since it doesn't constantly cut to a collage of images (and from what I've seen you rarely reuse images, Jesus tit and ass fucking christ that's masochistic).

That said the pans you employ in this video aren't lazy, they fit perfectly with the music. The use of hard lines, and color help emphasize the gritty noir feeling of Tom Waits song.

By the way I really dig that you used such a class song for your video, most people my age don't really know who the fuck he is (which is depressing) so your video should hopefully garner him some new listeners.

That brings me to the point I wanted to make, despite all the inane retarded reviews you've received, I do sincerely hope you'll continue to submit you work to this site.

Because frankly before you submitted your "Closer" video here, I didn't know who the fuck you were, and had you not submitted it it's very unlikely I ever would have.

This deserves a 10, the only reason I'm giving you a 9 is due to my shoddy actionscripting...

On a side note have you ever shown your fan made videos to the artists you did them for?

People's ignorance is the bane to my existence...

The file would be way too fucking big to turn into an flv and embed directly into the swf file.

The only other thing that could be done would be to use the flash video component, and host the flv file off an external server. Which would basically be the same thing I did here except the file would stream significantly slower.

Folks it's either this or nothing Tom Fulp isn't going to host something over 100mbs, and reducing the quality would ruin the integrity of the video.

But even if he did allow the video, people would bitch about how big the file size would be.
